Netflix announced on December 5th that a new action movie titled "Extraction: Taigo" was being filmed. The project will be directed by Lee Sang-young and featured renowned actors Ma Dong-sook, Lee Jin-uk, and Lisa, a well-known member of BLACKPINK.
The film's plot revolves around Taigo, a mercenary soldier orphaned by the war. He embarks on a dangerous operation to rescue his team member and close friend Leah from the hands of criminals. Ma Don Sok portrays Taigo himself, while Li Jin Uk plays the role of Arman Choi, the leader of a criminal gang opposing him. Lisa appears as Taigon's team member - the brave warrior Lia.
Lisa began her acting career with the role of Muk in the 3rd season of HBO's The White Lotus. Li Jin Uk achieved global fame through "Squid Game."
The exact release date of "Extraction: Taigo" has not yet been announced, but the project has begun to generate significant interest among fans.
