Trump and Erdogan Dialogue: Regional Situation at the Center of Discussion

US President Donald Trump and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation. This was reported by RIA NOVOSTI.
During the conversation, the parties discussed bilateral relations, as well as regional and international issues.
Erdogan called the extension of the ceasefire regime with Iran a positive step and expressed confidence that problems can be solved through diplomatic means.
The Turkish leader also emphasized the importance of maintaining stability in Syria and stated that the situation in Lebanon should not be allowed to deteriorate.
At the end of the conversation, Erdogan expressed his condolences to Trump regarding the attack on a mosque in San Diego and stated that Turkey opposes hate crimes.
US President Donald Trump said that his conversation with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan went very well.
"I had a very good conversation with the President, our relationship is very good," the American leader told reporters.
