906 suspected cases of Ebola recorded in Congo

906 suspected cases of Ebola virus have been recorded in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. According to the World Health Organization, 223 of these cases resulted in death and are currently under investigation.

The WHO stated that the Bundibugyo strain of the Ebola virus is spreading in the country. It is also reported that isolated cases have been identified in Uganda.
