Gold bullion prices in Uzbekistan hit record high

The Central Bank reported that the price of one gram of gold amounted to 1 million 272 thousand 440 soums. This is 1.6% higher than the previous price a day earlier.

The price of the precious metal increased by 0.6% compared to the previous record set on February 20. Over two and a half months, prices increased by 12.4%, and in annual terms by 41.4%.

As of March 14, the price of gold bars was as follows:

- 5-gram gold bar - 6 million 362 thousand soums;
- 10-gram gold bar - 12 million 724 thousand soums;
- 20-gram gold bar - 25 million 449 thousand soums;
- 50-gram gold bar - 63 million 622 thousand soums;
- 100-gram gold bar - 127 million 224 thousand soums.
