
Meetings are reducing employee productivity, according to a Microsoft study reported by the finansist_busines Telegram channel.
The Microsoft Work Trend Index (June 2025 special report) shows that most people experience two natural performance peaks: midday and evening.
However, most meetings are scheduled during 9–11 AM and 1–3 PM, exactly when people are most focused.
As a result, employees spend their most productive hours in meetings instead of getting meaningful work done.
