
The Center for Economic Research and Reforms presented an updated analysis of the Uzbek housing market for October. According to the report, during the month, housing transactions increased by 12% and reached 27.1 thousand.
This is the highest figure since August 2023. The growth of activity in the market is assessed by experts as a positive change.
The largest monthly growth was observed in Khorezm, Bukhara, and Tashkent regions. The number of transactions in these regions increased by an average of 26 percent.
In October, the growth rate of prices in the secondary housing market also accelerated slightly. The average price per square meter increased by 2.4% over the month, compared to only 0.6% in September.
At the same time, the average rental prices in Tashkent remained at last month's level. At the same time, rent increased by 1.6% compared to the same period last year.
