A new cycling route, Reyn Cycle Route, has opened in Europe. The route covers 1,450 km from the Netherlands to Switzerland, and 87% is car-free. It stretches from the North Sea to the Alps, connecting cities and scenic spots.
The route is part of the EuroVelo project, which aims to link Europe with cycling paths. It is the first official section of the network stretching from Norway to Spain.
Cyclists on the route pass through Rhine Valley, Lake Constance, and Rhine Falls. The path is well-marked and suitable for both regular cyclists and e-bike users.
Experts consider the route an important project for eco-tourism. The Rhine cycling route preserves nature and offers healthy travel opportunities.
