Uzbekistan plans to introduce a system for ordering medicines online through pharmacies.
According to the new regulations, citizens will be able to order medications remotely via electronic platforms. Additionally, specialized points for receiving online orders will be established in every pharmacy.
During the transportation process, couriers will deliver medicines using specialized temperature-controlled containers.
Furthermore, opening medicine packaging will be strictly prohibited, and specific requirements for the delivery process will be established.
According to the decree, a "bonded warehouse" mechanism will also be introduced to implement the electronic commerce system on a trial basis from July 1, 2026, to July 1, 2028.
