In Tashkent region, a conflict between a mother-in-law and a daughter-in-law resulted in burns to an infant. This was reported by the Children's Ombudsman, Surayyo Rahmonova.
According to reports, on January 27, in Tashkent district, X.M. (a woman born in 1999) had a dispute with her mother-in-law, M.X. (born in 1966). During the argument, the mother-in-law threw a thermos filled with hot water at her daughter-in-law. As a result, the 23-day-old baby, who was in the mother's arms, suffered burns on its hands and feet. The child has received the necessary medical treatment.
The Tashkent District Police Department has launched a preliminary investigation into the incident.
Additionally, to prevent further conflicts, a one-month protection order was issued for the daughter-in-law, and family members were informed about the imposed restrictions.
