
According to the press service of the Supreme Court, during the first quarter of this year, 138,557 cases of administrative offenses were considered by courts in Uzbekistan. These cases concerned 162,665 individuals, of whom 105,418 were imposed administrative penalties.
Remarkable figures:
– 19,201 persons were released from liability due to reconciliation
– 1,632 cases involving 1,924 persons were considered in the appeal procedure
– 2,380 cases involving 2,540 persons were considered in the cassation stage
The majority of the cases considered were the following offenses:
– petty hooliganism;
– failure to comply with the requirements of internal affairs bodies;
– unlicensed passenger transportation;
– violation of the rules for the use of energy resources;
– insults and drinking alcohol in a public place;
– violation of traffic rules;
– driving while intoxicated;
– carrying cold weapons or their substitutes.
It was also noted that 1,021 of the decisions issued by the courts of first instance were canceled in cassation, and 625 were changed. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
