Man hides 2.3M rubles in trousers to cross into Tajikistan
An Uzbek citizen was caught at the Oybek border post in Tashkent region attempting to smuggle ₽2,370,000 (around 385 million UZS) in cash, hidden in his pockets and waistband, according to Nova24.uz.

Authorities became suspicious of the man’s nervous behavior during customs inspection as he headed to Tajikistan. A personal search revealed the undeclared cash concealed under his clothing.

An investigation is currently underway. Customs officials reminded that individuals may only export cash equivalent to no more than 100 million UZS.
