Man killed by fallen tree in Tashkent storm
On May 23, a strong wind in Tashkent caused a tree to fall on two people, one of whom died, Nova24.uz reported.

According to medical professional Murod Qodirov, one of the injured victims died in the hospital’s emergency room.

The second person sustained a serious head injury. After a long surgery, he remains in intensive care in critical condition.

For reference, a dust storm swept through Tashkent again on May 23. Authorities urged residents to stay cautious and avoid parking vehicles under trees.
