According to the press service of the State Security Service, a special operational event was conducted in cooperation with the Tashkent city prosecutor's department. During this event, a teacher from Tashkent State University of Economics was detained.

At the time of detention, this person was caught accepting 4 thousand US dollars. In exchange for this money, he promised to admit a person living in Tashkent city to his higher education institution. To carry out this plan, he intended to seek help from his high-ranking acquaintances, reports the Upl.uz website.

Currently, a criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident and investigative actions are underway.
