Yandex Uzbekistan is launching a free online Python programming course for teenagers aged 14 to 17, Kursiv reported. According to the company’s press service, registration is open until August 15. The course does not require prior training and is aimed at beginners interested in IT.
The program covers Python basics and working with the visual turtle module. Turtle helps students turn code into drawings, making it easier to understand programming. The course includes eight modules and offers a certificate upon completion.
The top 120 students who finish by August 20 will be admitted to the Yandex School of Programming without selection and can join an advanced Python course in the fall. Python, created in 1991, is now one of the most popular programming languages.
