12-year-old boy dies after being electrocuted in Tashkent

A tragic incident occurred in Tashkent. In Bektemir district, a 12-year-old boy died from an electric shock. According to eyewitnesses, the boy was leaning against a container in contact with water when he received a fatal electric shock. Suddenly, there was a scream, and the boy fell face down and died before reaching the hospital.

Neighbors say the boy entered an open electrical panel and was shocked. Residents insist that the panel was always open and never locked. The boy’s mother is devastated, and neighbors demand that such tragedies never happen again.

The manager of "Eko Hudud BSK", Ahror Abdusalomov, explained that the panel was opened at night for irrigation due to the heat and closed during the day. However, locals do not believe this and blame negligence for the tragedy.

A special commission has launched an investigation. Discussions about stricter electrical safety control and preventive measures are ongoing in the neighborhood. The child’s parents demand accountability for all responsible to prevent similar incidents in the future.
