In the Kashkadarya region, an operation was carried out to combat the illegal circulation of counterfeit alcoholic beverages. During a joint operation conducted by the Guzar District Department of the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office and the District Department of Internal Affairs, a large quantity of counterfeit alcoholic beverages was seized.
According to the information, citizen A.Kh. attempted to bring alcoholic beverages of 3 different types, a total of 750 counterfeit excise stamps, into the territory of the Dekhkanabad district in his Damas car. His plan was to illegally sell these products.
As a result of timely measures taken by law enforcement agencies, all products were documented as material evidence and seized in favor of the state.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 176 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan - "Production and circulation of counterfeit money, excise stamps or securities." Currently, investigative actions are being carried out, and all details are being studied.
