According to the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, a group that illegally recruited and used Uzbek citizens for work has been exposed. According to the investigation, two Chinese citizens, one Uzbek citizen, and a Ukrainian woman were involved in this case.
Under the procedural supervision of the prosecutor's office, these four individuals were arrested. They are accused of organizing the transportation of 13 Uzbek citizens to Ukraine for the purpose of involving them in forced labor.
According to law enforcement agencies, they exploited citizens under difficult working conditions, promising to provide them with jobs. Currently, investigative proceedings are underway, and a legal assessment of their actions will be given.
Forced labor is classified as a serious crime in criminal law. He also noted that the Ukrainian prosecutor's office has established special control over this case.
