On September 24 of this year, cases of poisoning of children were recorded in a number of preschool educational institutions in the Pskent, Buka, Bekabad, Kuyichirchik, and Akkurgan districts of the Tashkent region.
On this fact, the Investigative Department under the Main Department of Internal Affairs initiated a criminal case against the responsible persons of food outsourcing companies under part 1 of Article 257-1 of the Criminal Code.
To ensure the completeness and objectivity of the investigation, the case was taken under the control of the Prosecutor General's Office, and a special working group was formed under the leadership of the First Deputy Prosecutor General, Bakhodir Valiev.
Currently, children in all kindergartens supplied with food products through these enterprises are undergoing a full medical examination. According to doctors, there are no patients in serious or extremely serious condition, the situation is under full control.
In order to prevent such cases, the prosecutor's office has also begun to study the processes of food delivery through outsourcing in all state kindergartens.
