"I didn't go to the metro, where did my money go?" - Official response from ATTO

"I didn't go to the metro, where did my money go?" - Official response from ATTO

In recent days, complaints about payments made from citizens' bank cards have spread on social networks. In particular, some users reported that funds were withdrawn from their cards, although they did not enter the metro.

In this regard, ATTO released an official statement clarifying the situation. It is noted that on September 16-30, 2024, technical malfunctions were observed in the payment equipment at the "Buyuk Ipak Yuli" station of the Tashkent metro. For this reason, payments for certain trips made at that time were not automatically recorded and processed in a timely manner.

According to the company's statement, payments for real trips made during the same period are currently being withheld from bank cards. That is, payment is recorded only for actually completed train trips.

The ATTO emphasized that no excess funds are being withdrawn in this process. The payment process is based on the analysis of trips made through all payment systems and an automatic calculation system.

The company also urged citizens to inquire about any unknown circumstances through the official ATTO application or call center.
