The violence that occurred at the school in Bektemir is being investigated

A fight broke out between two students on the premises of School No. 290 in the Bektemir district of Tashkent city on October 4 around 16:20, UPL.uz reported.

According to the information, a 15-year-old 9th grade student born in 2010 and a 9-year-old 3rd grade student born in 2016 got into a verbal argument. During the confrontation, the older student struck a bicycle. The child riding the bicycle fell and suffered serious facial injuries.

According to the results of the forensic medical examination, the right side of the child's lip was torn, the second tooth was completely knocked out, and the first tooth was partially dislodged. In addition, bruises and soft tissue injuries were found on the forehead, left side, shoulder, and arms. The injuries were assessed as minor.

Currently, a preliminary investigation is being conducted by the staff of the Bektemir district Police Department. An official report was drawn up against the mother of the 15-year-old under the article of the Administrative Responsibility Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan for failure to fulfill parental responsibilities for child upbringing.

Additionally, preventive explanatory conversations were held with the school administration and parents, and measures were agreed upon to prevent such incidents.
