
A case of environmental violation was identified in the Bekabad district of the Tashkent region. In the "Yangihayot" mahalla, two citizens - M.U. and A.S. are suspected of illegally fishing silver carp using an electric fishing rod in the "Sholikor" ditch.
This situation was investigated in cooperation with the State Environmental Control Inspectorate of the Ministry of Ecology and the Bekabad District Department of Internal Affairs based on video materials distributed on social networks.
During the study, it was established that the citizens violated hunting rules and acted contrary to the requirements of the laws "On Hunting," "On Protection of the Animal World," and "On Environmental Protection."
As a result of illegal hunting, damage to wildlife amounted to 8 million 240 thousand soums. This amount was calculated in accordance with the norms established by Resolution No. 80 of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Documents have been submitted to the Prosecutor General's Office to provide a legal assessment of this situation and take appropriate measures.
The Ministry of Ecology asks citizens not to be indifferent to nature, to comply with the requirements of the legislation, and to work together to put an end to illegal hunting.
