The well-known blogger, known by the pseudonym "Real Sanjik", S.K., has been temporarily detained. This was reported by Abdurakhmon Tashanov, head of the Ezgulik human rights society.
According to available information, on November 26 at around 19:00, the blogger was detained during a special raid conducted by the Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs. The victims suspect him of extortion and illegal possession of firearms.
According to Tashanov, law enforcement agencies must not only provide an official explanation of the incident but also strictly adhere to procedural rules. The blogger had previously attracted public attention due to other controversial events.
In August 2024, a citizen named Sh.R., born in 1997, promised to marry his lover Sh.A. and took advantage of her trust. He secretly sold the apartment to the blogger “Real Sanjik” for 240 thousand dollars.
After the incident gained attention, the blogger claimed he would donate the apartment to an orphanage, but it was later revealed that the documents had not been handed over. A criminal case was opened against Sh.R. under the charge of fraud, and during the investigation, other victims were also identified.
On November 21, the court verdict was announced: Sh.R. was sentenced to 9 years in prison to be served in a general regime colony.
