In the city of Tashkent, persons illegally selling medicines without quality guarantees and relevant documents were exposed. This was reported by the Uchtepa district department of the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office.
During an operational event conducted in cooperation with law enforcement agencies, citizen Z.Kh. and his accomplices were detained while attempting to sell medicines manufactured abroad but without legal documentation by prior conspiracy. It was established that they agreed to sell 10 boxes of "Kitruda" and 2 boxes of "Tesentrik" to citizen M.Kh. for 165.6 million soums.
The suspects were detained with material evidence when the money was calculated in US dollars and a total of 13,800 dollars was received.
According to the conclusion of the examination, a certificate of conformity for these drugs was not issued, and the rules for their storage were not observed. Therefore, the sale, transportation, and use of these drugs in medical practice are strictly prohibited.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 186-3 of the Criminal Code, and an investigation is currently underway.
