According to the Fergana regional courts, on January 20, 2026, the verdict was read against the previously convicted E.T., who worked as a correspondent for the "Anti-Corruption" website, in the Margilan city court. He was found guilty under 6 articles of the Criminal Code.
The court decision states that E.T. is guilty of defamation and insult, extortion, resistance to a representative of the authorities or a person performing a civic duty, dissemination of false information, as well as crimes related to documents, stamps, seals, forms, and state license plates of vehicles.
He was sentenced to 3 years and 10 months of imprisonment in accordance with Articles 59-61 of the Criminal Code, and also to 4 years of imprisonment with the cancellation of parole in accordance with Articles 60-61 of the Criminal Code. It was determined that the punishment will be served in a maximum-security colony; In 2021, E.T. was also sentenced to 3 years in prison under the article of interference in investigative or judicial cases, and at that time he was a former and current correspondent of "Effect.uz," "Taftish.uz."
