It is reported that gas worth almost 1 billion soums was stolen in Fergana

In the Fergana region, cases of illegal use of natural gas worth 835.7 million soums were revealed. A pre-investigation check was conducted by the Fergana regional department of the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office.

During the inspection, it was noted that the head of the private enterprise "U.B." B.B. and other persons may have been unauthorizedly connected to the natural gas network for commercial purposes in the building belonging to the enterprise in the territory of the "Damköl" mahalla of Fergana district. As a result, illegal use of natural gas worth 835.7 million soums was revealed.

A criminal case has been initiated under Article 169 (theft) of the Criminal Code. Currently, relevant investigative actions are being carried out within the framework of the case.
