In the city of Tashkent, a case of fraud related to the Umrah pilgrimage was revealed, and the suspects were detained during an operational event. At an event held in cooperation with the Mirabad District Department of the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office and other law enforcement agencies, "A.A." An unofficial employee of the LLC, A.A., and other individuals promised citizen G.B. and his parents to prepare "visa" documents and send them to Saudi Arabia.
According to reports, they were caught red-handed while receiving $2,400 in advance, promising to send them for Umrah for a total of $3,150. A criminal case has been initiated under Article 168 (fraud) and Articles 28, 211 (bribery) of the Criminal Code.
Currently, investigative actions are underway, and the details of the case are expected to be clarified by law enforcement agencies. At a time when such situations are increasing, not falling for offers like "I'll get you an Umrah visa," checking official licensed tour operators and documents is the easiest way not to regret it later.
