Mass poisoning of children was recorded in state kindergartens in Fergana. This was reported by the press service of the Fergana Regional Health Department.

According to the report, a number of kindergarten children were brought to the Fergana Regional Infectious Diseases Hospital starting at 7:00 PM on February 21st. It is said that they are children belonging to preschool educational organizations No. 2, No. 58 and No. 61 located in the city of Fergana.

The children consulted doctors with symptoms of fever, abdominal pain, weakness, nausea, and diarrhea. During the examination, patients exhibited symptoms such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, and fever.

The hospital's doctors examined the children and admitted them to the diarrhea department with the diagnosis of "Acute Diarrheal Disease, Alimentary Etiology." It is reported that 62 patients are currently undergoing inpatient treatment in the department, and their condition is assessed as good.

Specialists from the Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Wellbeing and Public Health have launched an investigation into the incident. They are conducting control measures in the canteens of kindergartens and in the food service enterprise, taking samples of the food consumed by the children for laboratory testing.
