A criminal case has been initiated against the assistant prosecutor who attempted to take a bribe

The illegal actions of a prosecutor's assistant were stopped in Tashkent. An operational event was held by employees of the Tashkent City Department of the State Security Service.

It is reported that until September 2025, he worked as an assistant prosecutor of the Shaykhantakhur district, and the official, who is currently an assistant prosecutor of the Uchtepa district, used his official position. He cited the fact that he leased non-residential premises in the basements of two houses in the Shaykhantakhur district to an individual entrepreneur.

Later, he received $15,000 from the entrepreneur in his car and was caught red-handed while attempting to flee the scene.

Currently, the Tashkent city prosecutor's office has initiated a criminal case against this person under Article 168, Part 3, Clause "v" (fraud) of the Criminal Code, and a preventive measure of "imprisonment" has been applied.
