The road traffic accident that occurred in the capital ended with tragic consequences. Traffic police inspector Junior Sergeant Khosilbek Eshnazarov, who was performing his official duties, passed away despite the efforts of doctors.
It is reported that on February 25 at 21:48 in Tashkent, the inspector on duty was struck by a “BMW” vehicle driven by a minor, a 10th-grade student. As a result, he sustained severe bodily injuries and was under medical supervision in a hospital for three days. However, the medical treatment provided did not produce results.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs issued an official statement regarding his death and expressed deep condolences to his family and relatives. The Prosecutor General’s Office also expressed condolences.
Khosilbek Eshnazarov had been serving in the internal affairs bodies since 2022. The officer, who was distinguished by his dedication and devotion to service, is survived by his elderly parents, his wife, two sons and one daughter.
The incident caused significant public reaction. Issues of road safety, minors driving vehicles, and responsibility have once again become a relevant topic.
