In Doha, 48 Uzbek citizens were stranded at the airport after their flight was canceled

It was reported that on February 28, 48 Uzbek citizens who were supposed to return to Tashkent due to the temporary closure of Qatar's airspace were stranded at Doha airport. Due to the emergency situation, airlines were unable to provide hotel accommodation for passengers.
Under these circumstances, embassy staff immediately arrived at the airport. As a result of the negotiations, citizens, including those who asked for help through social networks, were temporarily accommodated in hotels.
According to the Embassy, with the opening of Qatar's airspace and the resumption of flights, the safe return of citizens to their homeland will be ensured. It was noted that the ministry is under the constant control of the embassy, and the passenger list is regularly updated.
The diplomatic mission also urged Uzbeks not to panic, to rely only on official sources, and to avoid crowded places and comply with local laws for safety.
