On March 2 in the city of Nurafshon, Tashkent region, a man who attempted to break a bank ATM and take the money inside was promptly detained. This was reported by the press service of the Regional Department of Internal Affairs.
According to the report, at 03:10 a.m., a distress signal was received by the Security Department from an ATM device located in the “Oppoq” mahalla on Toshkent yo‘li Street. The alert was immediately transmitted through the duty unit to the night rapid response team.
Officers arrived at the scene in just 4 minutes and began inspecting the area. During surveillance and inspection, a man who was present on the territory of the bank branch was detained.
A hammer, a screwdriver, and other household tools were found on him. According to preliminary information, he planned to forcibly open the ATM door and steal the money.
As a result of оператив measures, a resident of O‘rta Chirchiq district, born in 1994, was detained at the scene. A pre-investigation check is being conducted by the territorial Department of Internal Affairs.
