On April 2, 2026, at 12:41 p.m., a "Man" bus was involved in a traffic accident on Shota Rustaveli Street in Tashkent. The incident occurred when the bus was moving on a special lane reserved for buses.
It turned out that the pedestrian was crossing the road at an unregulated crossing and a red traffic light when the bus hit him. As a result of the accident, the pedestrian, born in 2013, was injured and evacuated to the hospital by an ambulance. During the initial examination, doctors diagnosed him with a concussion.
The driver provided first aid to the victim and an ambulance was called. The pedestrian is currently being treated under medical supervision.
The Tashkent city traffic safety department is investigating the incident. The incident not only served as an important lesson for the pedestrian and driver, but also showed the need to further strengthen safety on city roads.
