Illegal construction removed in Urgench district

The Pervasive Enforcement Bureau's Khorezm regional department and its territorial divisions are carrying out the mandatory demolition of structures unlawfully built by citizens in violation of court decisions.
Specifically, during the current year up to April 1, a total of 112 different types of illegal structures were demolished as a result of enforcement actions.
For instance, based on an enforcement order from the Urgench Inter-district Court for Civil Cases dated June 22, 2025, a structure built arbitrarily on 360.0 square meters of unlawfully occupied land in the village of "Yukkido'rman," "Jaykhun" makhalla, Urgench district, by the respondent S.J., was to be removed at S.J.'s expense, and the land restored to its original state. The enforcement document was received by the Urgench district department of the Bureau, and enforcement actions commenced.
The department's state enforcement officer, M. Rozmetov, repeatedly provided explanations and warnings to the respondent S.J. regarding the obligation to demolish the illegal structure at his own cost. Despite these warnings, the respondent did not voluntarily dismantle the illegal structure.
Subsequently, for failing to comply with the court's decision and the lawful demands of the state enforcement officer, the respondent S.J. was fined 5 times the base calculation amount—2,060,000 som—in accordance with Article 82 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Enforcement of Court Decisions and Other Bodies' Documents." As a result of the mandatory enforcement actions taken, the arbitrarily constructed building was removed.
