Based on the court order of the Yakkasaroy District Inter-district Court of FIB dated May 19, 2023, child support in the amount of 1/3 of the income was established to be collected from the debtor mother G.M. in favor of the claimant I.I. for the maintenance of two children. This enforcement document was received by the Sergeli district branch of the Bureau, and enforcement proceedings were initiated.
However, despite being warned several times, the debtor mother remained indifferent to the upbringing of her children and failed to make child support payments. As a result, the debt amounted to nearly 50 million soums. Therefore, it was decided to consider the issue of referring her to court for an offense provided for in Article 47⁴ of the Code of Administrative Responsibility of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
However, through explanatory work, conversations, and real-life examples conducted by state bailiffs, the debtor mother was once again made aware of the responsibility, love, and care required in raising children.
As a result, the coldness in the family was eliminated, and the spouses reconciled. The mother embraced her children again and proved through practical actions that she is not indifferent to their upbringing. In this regard, this enforcement document was completed based on Article 40¹ of the law.
The law serves not primarily to punish, but first and foremost to guide people toward the right path, preserve families, and protect the interests of children.
