In the course of an оператив measure carried out in cooperation between the Karshi city department of the Department under the General Prosecutor’s Office and other law enforcement agencies, citizen Z.Q. who had been engaged in illegal sale of medicinal products was detained.
During inspection and surveillance activities, it was revealed that he was detained with material evidence while selling 29 capsules and 60 units of a strong-acting medicinal product called “Gabaten” to a citizen for 500 US dollars.
A similar case was identified during an оператив measure carried out by the Ulugnor district department of the Department in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies. In it, citizen J.A. was detained while selling to citizen M.X. 4 units of “Regapen” and 1 unit of a strong-acting medicinal product called “Tropicamid”, produced abroad, for 670 thousand soums.
The mentioned medicinal products were also seized as material evidence.
Criminal cases have been initiated under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code regarding these incidents, and investigative actions are being carried out. The competent authorities continue a strict fight against the illegal circulation of medicinal products.
