A serious incident in the mountainous areas of Tashkent region alarmed the public — a 4-year-old child went missing for some time and was later found alive. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The incident occurred on April 13 in the Akhangaran district. According to reports, a family of six went to a mountainous area for recreation. During their walk, they climbed higher to see the snowy landscapes. However, on the way back, an unexpected situation occurred, and the 4-year-old child became separated from the family.
After approximately 40 minutes, it became known that the child was missing, and rescue services were immediately notified.
After that, search operations involved search-and-rescue units of the Tashkent region and personnel of the special rescue unit “Kamchiq.” According to specialists, the difficult mountain terrain and nighttime conditions made the operation significantly more complicated.
The search-and-rescue operation lasted more than 6.5 hours.
As a result, on April 14 at 00:20, the child was found alive by members of the Almalyk special search-and-rescue unit.
Thus, the difficult nighttime search ended with relief — most importantly, the child was safely returned to his family.
The rapid actions of the rescuers and their endurance in difficult conditions once again proved effective.
