In the Mirzacho‘l district of Jizzakh region, the deputy head of the Emergency Situations Department drew up an administrative report regarding deficiencies identified during an inspection of a public catering establishment.
According to reports, he demanded 3 million soums in exchange for "closing" the case and not forwarding the documents to court. It is stated that through this, he attempted to abuse the official process.
The rapid operation was conducted jointly by the State Security Service and employees of the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office. The official was apprehended while receiving money from the head of the catering establishment.
A criminal case has been initiated against him regarding this incident, and preliminary investigative actions are currently ongoing.
Officials reminded citizens that they can contact the short number 1520 when encountering such situations. It was also emphasized that the personal data of applicants is guaranteed to remain confidential.
