A horrific crime in the Fergana region has shocked the public. It has been revealed that a 29-year-old man brutally murdered his own mother following an argument over money.
According to court documents, on the morning of the incident around 8:00 AM, a dispute arose between the deceased woman and her eldest son over financial issues. The argument escalated, and the accused struck his mother several times on the head with an axe he was holding.
Reports indicate that he then continued his criminal actions by taking a household knife from the yard and mutilating the woman's body. Afterward, in an attempt to cover his tracks, he buried parts of the body on the property and fled the scene.
This case was heard in the Dangara District Court for Criminal Cases. The court found the accused guilty under the article of the Criminal Code related to intentional homicide.
According to the verdict, he was sentenced to 18 years of imprisonment, to be served in a general-regime penal colony.
