Tashkent–Charvak Toll Road: Distance Could Be Halved

A major infrastructure project aimed at taking the tourism potential of the Tashkent region to a new level is at the center of discussions. A key meeting took place between the Deputy Governor of the region, Sh. Makhmudov, and foreign investors from Qatar's Protocol Capital Group and South Korea's Korea Expressway Corporation representatives.

The main topic of the negotiations was the construction of a modern toll road connecting our capital with the scenic Charvak resort area.

A 52-kilometer modern highway

According to the technical details of the project, the length of the new highway will be 52 kilometers. A period of 3 years has been set to build this road, which meets international standards. During the meeting, the investment attractiveness and technical capabilities of the project were thoroughly reviewed with foreign partners.

Save your time: 35 minutes instead of 1 hour!

The launch of the new highway will create unprecedented convenience for drivers and tourists. According to estimates:

  • Currently, it takes an average of 1 hour and 20 minutes to travel from Tashkent to the Charvak reservoir.

  • Via the new high-speed route, this distance can be covered in just 35 minutes. This means not only saving time but also a modern transport corridor that allows for safe and smooth travel.

A new breath for tourism and entrepreneurship

This toll road is expected to be more than just a convenience; it will be a major driver for the regional economy. It will open doors for a sharp increase in tourist flow, the expansion of service facilities, and increased local entrepreneurial activity along the new route.
