Boxing. What results did our national team achieve at the World Cup?

As you know, from March 31 to April 5, the city of Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, hosted the World Boxing Organization Cup. Today, the final fights of the competition took place. This was reported by the Uzbekistan Boxing Federation.

7 members of our team, led by Tulkin Kilichev, who participated with the men's team, qualified for the finals, and 5 of them won gold medals. 2 of our boxers were a little less lucky.

It should be noted that our representatives won medals in 8 out of 10 weight categories and gold medals in 5. This result, of course, brought us the first place in the overall team standings, as always.

After us, the hosts came in second with 3 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze medals, and the third place went to our neighbors Kazakhstan. They won 3 gold medals (two men, one woman) and 3 bronze medals.
