
Uzbek boxer Shahram Giyasov, who continues his brilliant professional career, will hold his next fight for two championship belts. The World Boxing Association (WBA) announced this on its official website.
Ennis is the champion, the opponent is clear
Currently, the current champion in this weight category is American Jaron Ennis. He fought 35 times in the ring and won all of his fights. Including 30 fights ended by knockout.
On April 12, Ennis defeated Lithuanian Eimantas Stanionis, thereby unifying the WBA and IBF belts. After that, the WBA obliged him to fight against Shakhram Giyasov within 120 days.
Giyasov's last victory - a 4th round knockout
On April 13, Giyasov entered the ring in Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA. He fought against Argentine Franco Maximiliano Ocampo and knocked out his opponent in the 4th round.
With this victory, Shakhram once again showed that he is ready for a championship fight.
