Sumqayit officially says goodbye to two Uzbek players

Sumqayit, which plays in the Azerbaijan Premier League, has officially parted ways with Uzbek players Jasur Jaloliddinov and Bobir Abdikholikov. The club's press service has released an official statement on this.

The team has decided not to renew the contracts with the two players. After that, both players have the status of free agents and have the right to look for a new team.

This season, Sumqayit has played 36 matches in the Azerbaijan Pro League, collecting 33 points and finishing 8th out of 10 teams. This result indicates that it has been a difficult season for the club.

Forward Bobir Abdikholikov has played in 14 matches for the team. He scored 4 important goals and provided 3 assists. In some matches, the team has scored points thanks to his actions.
