The issue of comprehensive development of the sports sphere in Uzbekistan, bringing it to a new level in accordance with international standards, has been defined as a priority at the state level. At the initiative of the President, in recent years, special attention has been paid to attracting foreign specialists to our country, exchanging experience through them, and improving the system of training athletes and coaches. This process serves as an important factor in further strengthening the authority of national teams in the international arena.
Currently, coaches from abroad are successfully working in sports teams of various disciplines. Practice shows that such steps are effective in achieving high efficiency and increasing the competitiveness of our national teams.
For this purpose, the coaching staff of the men's national judo team of the Judo Federation of Uzbekistan has been replenished with new members. An official agreement was signed between the Federation's chairman, Azizjon Komilov, and the Russian specialist, Kamil Magomedov. This agreement is considered another important step towards the development of our judo.
According to the information, 44-year-old Kamil Magomedov competed in the -81 and -90 kilogram weight categories during his sports career. She won a gold medal at the team World Championships in 2012, and was a three-time European Championship medalist. He also won the European Cup and the World Police Championship.
It is natural that the involvement of such an experienced coach will make a great contribution to the development of national judo. With the help of the specialist's knowledge and skills, the level of mastery of young athletes is expected to increase, and the national team will worthily participate in the most prestigious international competitions.
This innovation in Uzbek judo has generated significant interest among sports enthusiasts. Most importantly, this opens up new opportunities for our national judo to show worthy results in major tournaments such as the World Championships and the Olympics.
