The "IBA.PRO 10" boxing event will be held in St. Petersburg on October 6. One of the most anticipated matches of the show, which kicks off at 7:00 PM Uzbekistan time yesterday, is the bout between our compatriot Bakhodir Jalolov (15-0, 14 KOs) and Vitaliy Kudukov (7-3, 3 KOs), representing the host ring.
Jalolov is known in the professional ring as a boxer who continues his undefeated streak, rationally distributes the flow of punches, and manages the distance. His right-handed combinations and left-handed shots, designed to keep the opponent at a distance, have proven themselves in a number of fights. Therefore, it will be important to control the center of the ring, setting the desired tempo.
And Kudukov receives support as a boxer fighting in his homeland, and this, naturally, motivates him to act actively. Combined attacks and physical training stood out in his victories. For the guest, being prepared for the opponent's pressure in the first minutes, avoiding minor mistakes, and being cautious in clinches can become one of the decisive factors.
Before the match, the coaching staff focuses on two areas: first - working in the central direction, and second - entering and exiting in the outer radii, that is, correctly determining the distance. Head movements, steps, and correct timing are crucial to avoid falling into the opponent's counter-attack.
A number of interesting competitions are planned as part of the evening. But this clash itself attracts the attention of fans: one is an extraordinarily efficient boxer aiming to extend his undefeated streak, and the other is an opponent who acts with passion and enthusiasm in front of his home.
According to the organizers, there is a possibility of minor changes in the program times and the list of pairs. Therefore, it would be advisable for fans to review official sources before the show begins. Most importantly, the outcome will be determined by who will be able to finalize the game plan in the big ring.
