25 Nominees Announced for Golden Boy 2025 Award

The list of nominees for one of Europe’s most prestigious youth football awards — the Golden Boy — has been revealed. According to Italy’s Tuttosport, the final shortlist includes 25 players aged 21 or younger. The winner will be determined in November based on votes from 50 leading European journalists.

The Golden Boy award is given to the best young player of the year, and each footballer can win it only once. This year’s list features the brightest talents from Europe’s top clubs.

Last year, the award went to Barcelona’s young winger Lamine Yamal. The trophy can only be won once per player, making each edition a stage for a new champion.

This year, players from Real Madrid, PSG, and Arsenal are among the top favorites — the winner will be announced in November.
