Sporting offers 24-year-old Inasiu a new contract until 2030

Portuguese club Sporting wants to keep central defender Gonzalo Inácio in the squad. Barcelona has expressed interest in the player. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Sporting CP plans to offer the 24-year-old a new contract until 2030. In the new agreement, the compensation will be 80 million euros. The club wants to dampen Barcelona's interest this way.

Gonzalo Inácio has made 11 appearances in all competitions this season. He provided two assists.

According to Transfermarkt, the player's market value is €45 million. Sporting wants to keep the player for a long time. The club intends to rely on him as one of its key defenders in the future.
