In the 9th round of the Bundesliga, the match between "Stuttgart" and "RB Leipzig" ended with a score of 1:3. "Stuttgart" head coach Sebastian Hoeneß shared his thoughts on the match results.
"It was a high-level match played at a fast pace. In the opening minutes, Nübel saved us several times.
From the 5th to the 30th minute, we played almost ideally, but we couldn't reward ourselves with a goal. After that, the match became open and the opponent's opening goal was fair.
The second goal scored at the start of the second half made our task even more difficult. Our team kept fighting, believed in themselves, and managed to score one goal.
But today we lacked the decisive moment. We played on equal terms with Leipzig for a long time, and we can take some positives from this game," said Hoeneß.
After this match, "Stuttgart" remained in fourth place with 19 points. "RB Leipzig" rose to second place with 22 points. Earlier, the head coach of the winning team, Ole Werner, also commented on the match results.
