Lukin: Losing Such Matches Is Painful


Defender of the Russia national team, Matvey Lukin, shared his thoughts regarding the 1:1 draw against the Peru national team in the BetBoom friendly match.

"We played better. We created many opportunities, but unfortunately, we couldn't capitalize on them.

It's frustrating to drop games like this, but we will keep working. Everyone wants to win," Lukin stated, as quoted by "Match TV".

The Russian national team will play their next match on November 15 at the stadium in Sochi against the Chile national team. It should be noted that the Russia national team has been banned from participating in international tournaments due to a joint decision by FIFA and UEFA.
