Philipp Lahm on Joshua Kimmich's Ideal Position

Philipp Lahm, the former famous footballer from Bavaria, has shared his thoughts on the most suitable position for Joshua Kimmich. The 30-year-old German footballer plays as a midfielder for Bayern Munich but often appears as a right-back for the national team.

"Joshua has proven his ability to excel in both positions. It largely depends on the players around him and the overall composition of the team.

Personally, I see him more in the role of a 'number eight,' with a defensive midfielder alongside him. If I were the coach, I would position Kimmich in exactly that way," Lahm's statement was quoted by Sport1.
