Yelagin Explains Liverpool's Main Problem

Renowned commentator Aleksandr Yelagin shared his thoughts following Liverpool's latest defeat. In the 12th round of the Premier League, the Merseyside club suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat at home against Nottingham Forest.

"There’s so much talk about Liverpool’s championship ambitions and the fact that there are still 26 games left with opportunities. However, without a modern defensive system, even with a strong attacking lineup, 'Slot and his teammates' will not be able to win the Premier League title this season," Yelagin wrote on his Telegram channel.

The expert emphasized that Liverpool’s attacking lineup is also not strong, as the entire forward line is not in optimal condition. The defeat against the "Foresters" marked Arne Slot's team's sixth loss this season in the Premier League.
